In a unique “twist” on the average fundraiser, the Tampa Bay chapter hosted a painting fundraiser recently at the local Painting With a Twist studio in St. Petersburg, FL. The successful in-person event was limited in size due to COVID-19 restrictions. The theme of the painting was “Your own quote,” allowing participants to channel their creativity into an inspirational, custom piece of art. While it was fun to see everyone’s artistic side, the event was really about bringing together these amazing strong women who are motivated to help support the survivors of human trafficking. It takes a village to help the broken women of human trafficking but with the generosity of individuals who attended the event and beyond, we can make a difference in the lives of these survivors.
